Winner Cambridge Intelligence urges others to enter Startups Awards

Fresh from its own success last year, local company Cambridge Intelligence is calling on all businesses in the East of England to enter the Startups Awards 2015.

Startups Awards 2015 open for entries. Deadline 11 September.

The Awards recognise the success of Britain’s newest businesses which have been trading for four years or less and are widely regarded as being a launch-pad for some of the nation’s greatest home-grown business talent.

Previous Startups Awards winners include The Cambridge Satchel Company, Ella’s Kitchen, Notonthehighstreet.com and Secret Escapes, as well as the East of England’s Cambridge Intelligence.

Since winning the Innovative Business of the Year award in 2014, Cambridge Intelligence has gone from strength to strength, proving just how much clout being an award winner can bring.

Cambridge Intelligence has doubled in size, both in terms of employees and customers since winning the Award, and is now in the process of carefully growing its US office. The company also received the Queen’s Award for Innovation, and was invited to join the Prime Minister’s cyber delegation to Washington DC in January 2015.

With this year’s search for the brightest new businesses underway across 15 different categories, Cambridge Intelligence is keen to see fellow companies in the East of England enter the Startups Awards and take their place in the spotlight too.

Dr Joe Parry, Founder and CEO of Cambridge Intelligence comments: “Winning an award was a defining moment for both our team and company. It also clearly sets us apart from our competitors which is invaluable!”

David Lester, founder of Startups.co.uk, adds: “Cambridge Intelligence is a great example of how the start-up business community is thriving in the East of England. Why not follow in its footsteps and put yourself in the running for an award? 2015 could be your year!”

Simply Business returns as headline sponsor of the Startups Awards for a third year in 2015, accompanied by category sponsors Experian, haysmacintyre, Big Red Cloud and Nominet.
