Workplace Law crosses the Hero Ride finish line

On Sunday (2 June 2013), the Workplace Law cycling team embarked on a 78-mile ride from Cambridge to London. The last ten miles were in conjunction with some 1,300 other Help for Heroes riders, raising money for the charity.

Six Workplace Law riders left Cambridge at 3.30am, travelling a carefully planned route, aided by a support driver. Passing through many of the towns on the Cambridge to London train line, six became eight riders at Harlow. The team then joined riders from all over the country to cycle en masse from Blackheath into central London. The ride concluded on Horse Guards Parade in the afternoon, after which Workplace Law riders successfully crossed the finish line.

So far Workplace Law has raised £660 for Help the Heroes, with donations still being received. The Hero Ride is aiming to raise over £2m for Help for Heroes. The funding will provide support for those who have suffered and survived injuries in recent conflicts, and their families, for life.

Donations to the Workplace Law cycle team can still be made online here: http://www.bmycharity.com/workplacelawheroride
