Workshop helps create inclusive communities in the East

PARCA and Big Society Funding CIC are running a free workshop in Peterborough on Tuesday 18 March entitled ‘How to suceed in Peterborough with your voluntary organisation’.

The workshop will include two main presentations: one about the help offered by the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP to promote economic development locally (including the LEP Prize Challenge & EU Structural Funding), and the other focused on how to get Big Lottery funding for your community organisation. Leonie McCarthy, Chief Executive, from Peterborough CVS will also be explaining more about the new Peterborough Community Wellbeing Partnership.

Mark Ereira-Guyer and James Baddeley, from Big Society Funding CIC, will then work with small groups to see how they can help to improve your skills and capacity, run a successful voluntary organisation, and enable you to contribute to the Government’s ‘Big Society’ policy agenda.

To participate in the workshop please register at: PARCA [email protected] OR www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/creating-inclusive-big-society-communities
