World Food celebrated at Cambridge Regional College restaurant

Travel and Tourism students at Cambridge Regional College are inviting diners to take a trip around the world with a special World Food event at the college’s restaurant.

The students have picked food from some favourite holiday destinations across the globe to tempt the palate of diners at the lunchtime event on 3 June.

Dishes range from authentic tagliatelle pasta from Italy to the traditional USA burger with all the trimmings, with Greece represented by falafel and tzatziki served in a pitta with salad.

The World Food event has been organised by the college’s Level 3 Travel and Tourism diploma students, who said the event would celebrate food from around the world.

“We hope we will bring back a few holiday memories with the great range of food on offer and introduce new customers to the college’s Park restaurant,” they said.
