The fun and informative “At Your Service” event on Monday 20 May will also include cocktail-making, shaking and tasting, along with a chocolate workshop led by the college’s catering students – with plenty of opportunity to taste the results.
Organiser Phil Stittle, business development manager at CRC, said the event would showcase the college’s hospitality training to employers.
“It will be a great opportunity for local businesses to find out about hospitality training and the help they can get with funding,” he said.
“We have organised a fun event as well as an informative one, and have included some great demonstrations, including cocktail-making – and tasting – and a chocolate workshop.
“We have fantastic catering and hospitality facilities at the college and at the Park restaurant and we wanted to show them off to businesses in the hospitality industry.”
There will also be a food safety workshop and a chance to find out more about the Government’s £1,500 Apprenticeship Grant for employers.
“At Your Service” takes place on Monday, 20 May, from 3pm to 6pm, at the Park restaurant at CRC, and refreshments will be provided. For further information or to register attendance, contact Sharon Barry on: 01223 418742, 07854 725477 or email [email protected]
