Growth is attributed to strong export demand with sales to 45 countries now accounting for almost 90% of Zettlex’s business. Zettlex sensors are used in machinery control systems to measure position or speed precisely in harsh environments. Next week, Zettlex will announce expansion of its main product line with a formal launch on September 12th at DSEI, the world’s largest defence systems and equipment exhibition, at ExCel in London.
Zettlex Managing Director and co-founder, Mark Howard (pictured) says: “We’ve been growing at more than 30% per year for the last few years and this looks set to continue with a strong demand from all our sectors and from all territories but especially North America. We expect growth to continue as customer projects go from pilot to full-scale production. Sometimes, a jump in sales can be explained by a single, large order that distorts the data or a big contract with low profitability – I’m pleased to report that both profit and order numbers are in line with increased sales.”
Zettlex Technical Director and co-founder, Dr. Darran Kreit says: “It’s great to see some of our R&D efforts now paying off. Some of our customers really put our products through their paces – whether it’s on a space rocket, a surgical robotic or a jet aircraft. I’m pleased that we’re getting a reputation for delivering on our promises for what this technology can do.”
