Zinwave, global providers of a unified connectivity solution for in-building wireless and IP coverage, has opened new offices in Macau to support its expanding customer base in the region. The new facility will provide Zinwave customers and partners with a sales, operations and engineering base and will also feature a product demonstration suite.
Zinwave has secured a number of high profile contracts in the APAC region, including the Vattanac Tower in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Solaire Casino in Manila, the Philippines. The company has also been selected by MGM Macau to supply, install and commission a wireless coverage solution for all cellular services, including support for MIMO and internal TETRA in a new casino resort being built on the Cotai strip.
Having a base in Macau shows Zinwave’s recognition of the economic importance of South East Asia and confirms the company’s ambition to become the supplier of choice for all major construction projects. It also re-enforces Zinwave’s position as a market leader in the development of in-building wireless coverage solutions based on advanced photonics and wideband amplifier technology.
As well as opening new regional offices, Zinwave has recently recruited a team of experienced engineers who are fully responsible for installation, equipment testing and commissioning and staff training for all recently secured projects in Macau and the surrounding area.
Zinwave’s wideband distributed antenna system (DAS) is being increasingly chosen as the preferred solution by building owners and MNOs. It is able to support all cellular frequencies (including any variant of the new LTE services) all public safety services, pagers and internal radio services on a single hardware layer.
To extend the functionality of its proprietary DAS product, Zinwave has recently incorporated IP and high capacity Wi-Fi capabilities into its core technology to develop a unified connectivity platform for all in-building wireless and IP coverage requirements. Branded as UNItivity, this new solution supports all RF services between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single, converged infrastructure.
