Recruitment Peer Group

The Recruitment peer group is a valuable hub for recruitment professionals. With a robust community of over 170 members, we come together five times a year, mainly virtually, from March to November. General job titles of members in the group tend to be Talent Acquisition at all levels, Office Managers that deal with recruitment, and some standalone HR Generalists.

Events

We cover topics based on attracting talent, interview techniques, onboarding, and retention. Previous topics include attracting talent from overseas, apprenticeships, and how to attract talent in specific sectors such as Biotechnology and Computer Science.

The group kicks off each year by inviting members to share and shape what topics they'd like to cover. We then seek out industry experts to help lead these engaging sessions as facilitators. The meetings are generally from 9.30am-11 am and are very much discussion-based with lots of knowledge sharing.

The knowledge sharing continues outside of meetings, with members of the group regularly getting in touch to ask questions, which we collate answers for and share back.

Who can join?

The Recruitment Peer Group is free to attend for Cambridge Network members working in the relevant functions within recruitment.

Please note, peer groups are available to organisations with six or more staff.

Contact Claire.angus@cambridgenetwork.co.uk if you or your colleagues would like to join.
