Fire Safety Management and CPD
A little professional milestone for both Laura and SHE Does Safety.
After recently updating her Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Laura has officially upgraded to MIFSM membership status with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
Continued learning and development has always been an important part of how SHE Does Safety supports businesses. Health, safety and fire responsibilities continue to evolve, and staying current with legislation, guidance and industry best practice helps ensure clients continue to receive practical and proportionate support. Fire Safety Management is key for life safety within commercial premises.
This is an area Laura genuinely enjoys supporting businesses with (slightly weird, perhaps!) — particularly helping SMEs and multi-site organisations better understand their responsibilities, and ensure they are being managed. Fire Risk Assessment is an integral part but ensuring it is applied is another.
For many businesses, fire safety can feel overwhelming. As organisations grow, sites evolve and operational pressures increase, it can become increasingly difficult to maintain visibility over fire safety responsibilities and ongoing compliance requirements.
