PA Group: Bias at Work: Challenging Assumptions to Improve Growth

Cambridge Network Event

This PA group session will be led by Louise Herriman of Enkindle Success. Teams and businesses thrive when all voices are heard and all strengths are recognised. Yet subtle biases - confidence, affinity, and commitment - often shape who gets noticed, who get's promoted, and who gets trusted with opportunities.

In this interactive talk, participants will explore how these biases show up in everyday decisions, from meetings and project allocation to performance evaluation, and how they can unintentionally block talent, slow innovation, and limit business growth.

Through reflection and actionable strategies, attendees will leave knowing how to spot bias, step into conscious decision-making, and create environments where all contributions are valued, leading to stronger teams and better business outcomes.

Enkindle Success helps organisations understand how capability, decision‑making and working conditions shape performance in practice. Often, there is more capability present than is visible, not because people lack ability, but because of how work operates day to day. Using Enkindle Insight, a practitioner‑led diagnostic, we make these dynamics visible, helping organisations see where performance is being constrained and where effort is translating into progress. This creates clarity on where to act, while reducing unnecessary intervention and helping retain and better utilise the capability they already have. Louise Herriman is Founder / Director of Enkindle Success.

These sessions are free to attend for PAs in Cambridge Network member companies with more than 6 staff. If there are more than 3 attendees per company and I have a waiting list I may have to rejuggle some of the places to try to keep it fair for everyone. If you have any questions please contact Louise at the email address below.
