Commercial leadership team at CDP

Cambridge Design Partnership (“CDP”), the international product development consultancy, has appointed three senior executives, strengthening its commercial leadership and positioning the business for the next stage of its evolution and growth.

Michael Zeitlyn has been appointed as Chief Growth Officer. Michael has over 30 years of experience in the innovation space.  Prior to joining CDP, he held senior leadership positions at Science Group plc, and was Managing Director of Oakland Innovation, a company he founded, built and sold to Science Group. Michael brings significant experience of working with executive leadership within R&D in consumer and industrial markets.

Patrick Pordage joins CDP as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer. Patrick had previously worked in product design and development for almost two decades, helping to grow Cambridge Consultants into an international success story; the firm is now owned by Capgemini.  Patrick was also instrumental in taking CMR Surgical from a stealth mode start-up to a global surgical brand and the world’s second largest soft tissue robotics company.

Paolo Seresini joins from PA Consulting where he was a partner in the Consumer and Manufacturing sector.  In his new role, Paolo leads CDP’s consumer division which has a track record of working for some of the most trusted and respected multi-national organisations.  He brings three decades of sector experience having worked for world-class brands such as Unilever, Reckitt, Princes Food, and Tetra Pak.

Commenting on these appointments, Wade Tipton, CDP’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “CDP is at an important inflection point in its trajectory.  Since I became CEO last year, we have restructured the business, and by welcoming these new colleagues, we are well positioned for our next phase of growth – driven as always by our core promise to be the partner clients trust with their hardest problems.”
