The launch event, held in early October at the Grand Pavilion at Hylands House, brought together senior people from Price Bailey, local clients, professional contacts and members of the Essex business community to mark the firm’s expansion into Chelmsford. The new office, based at Elizabeth House in the centre of Chelmsford, marks Price Bailey’s 13th location and the third office the firm has opened in the last 18 months.
During the event, Martin Clapson, Managing Director of Price Bailey, delivered an opening address and noted how the move has strengthened Price Bailey’s presence across the region. His speech also highlighted that Price Bailey is now the largest truly independent partner owned and managed accountancy firm in Chelmsford, reflecting the growing demand for its services in Essex.
Commenting following the event, Essex-based Business Development Director at Price Bailey, Pete Bardell, said: “It was fantastic to welcome so many people from across the Essex business community to celebrate the opening of our Chelmsford office. We have worked with businesses across the county for many years, so establishing a permanent presence here felt like a natural next step for Price Bailey.

The Chelmsford opening forms part of Price Bailey’s wider growth, both organically and through acquisition, including its recent acquisition of External Accounts Ltd, an accountancy practice serving clients across Norfolk and Suffolk.
