Sable&Hawkes were asked to create the exhibition’s visual identity and core campaign assets. We developed a bold, plant-led graphic style that works across:
/ large glasshouse vinyls as the primary exhibition posters
/ A5–A3 posters around the Garden and wider city
/ social media and digital ads
/ email footer graphics for the Garden’s team
Simple, colourful illustrations and clear typography keep the focus where it belongs: on the plants and the conversations they spark.
If you’re planning an exhibition or public engagement project and need a clear, distinctive identity and campaign toolkit, I’d love to talk:

Talking Plants: giving nature a voice at Cambridge University Botanic Garden - An event promotion from Sable&Hawkes
10 February 2026
This spring, Cambridge University Botanic Garden is inviting visitors to talk to plants in a new AI-powered exhibition, “Talking Plants: Hear Nature Speak!” Created with Nature Perspectives, the experience uses QR codes so visitors can have bespoke conversations with living plants – hearing their stories of evolution, ecology and cultural significance, and hopefully leaving with a little more empathy for nature.
