Milton Hall has been part of the Cambridge landscape for centuries — beginning life as an elegant country residence before evolving into the welcoming business hub it is today.
Tenants within the serviced offices appreciate the beauty of the Grade II listed building and the tranquillity offered within the six acres of landscaped gardens.
But away from the surroundings it’s the small, friendly team who are on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly that underpin its community feel.
Alongside serviced office space the Milton Hall team also takes care of meeting room hire requests, supports virtual office clients and arranges events including a summer garden party and regular coffee mornings to bring tenants together.
Milton Hall also supports wider Cambridge charity activities and in recent years has been a sculpture sponsor for the Standing Tall art trail through the city centre in aid of Break; housed ‘convicts’ from the Jail or Bail fundraiser for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices; and has recently announced involvement as a sponsor of the 2027 Panda Meander to raise money for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust.

Tanya Price, Director
What does your role involve?
I’ve been at the Hall since 2013 and became Director in 2017. I tend to show any prospective tenants around, highlight the facilities and answer any questions. Then, if they take space, I hand them over to Emma to set them up and meet them on day one.
Why do you like working at Milton Hall?
No two days are ever the same. The diverse mix of tenants, from local businesses to global technology companies, creates a vibrant atmosphere. And I can never tire of the beautiful Grade II-listed building with modern, high-spec interiors, it’s a true hidden gem. The supportive, customer-focused team, excellent facilities, free parking, and regular tenant events make it a fantastic place to work.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
It’s incredibly rewarding to watch companies grow, although it’s always sad when they get too large to be based with us anymore and we have to say goodbye. And it’s always encouraging when companies move here from elsewhere and can’t believe how much better our customer service is. This is something we really pride ourselves on so it’s always nice to hear how we make a difference.
Claire Moult, Receptionist
What does your role involve?
Greeting visitors, answering the telephone, booking and preparing meeting rooms, plus lots more. Every day is different and I enjoy the variety!
Why do you like working at Milton Hall?
The uniqueness of the building, the beautiful grounds and wildlife and of course getting on so well with the rest of the Milton Hall team. We’re a small tight-knit bunch surrounded by a friendly group of tenants.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Meeting lots of different people from all over and them telling me how much they love the building and commenting on how calm and inviting Milton Hall is.
Best memory of working at Milton Hall?
When we took part in the Cambridge Standing Tall for Break Charity public art trail and ended up with our own ‘Gi-Gi’ in reception. The giraffe sculpture was certainly a striking talking point.
