Campaign days: Game-changer or just more noise?

Mental Health Awareness Week in May - How will you take action?

Survive and Thrive in the Workplace Workshop

Many of you have mixed views about national campaign days, but I still think they have their place in enhancing our ongoing messages around mental health awareness

11th-17th May is Mental Health Awareness Week and this years theme is 'Take Action'

We have had many years promoting:

  • Mental health awareness
  • Positive conversations
  • Increasing knowledge and mental health literacy

Which are all great, BUT What positive action can we take to move things forward in the workplace?

1. Create a culture of psychological safety

2. Train managers to support, not just supervise

3. Make wellbeing part of everyday work — not an add-on

4. Encourage small, consistent actions

Work with us at Promote Mental Health to develop the above actions in 2026

Why not start with a team workshop for Mental Health Awareness Week - Surviving and Thriving in the Workplace.
