Creating Nature's Corridors - bringing joy to the world

Every year, the UK buys six-eight million Christmas trees - with the majority of these iconic symbols of the festive period discarded in the New Year – so this holiday season, the Cambridgeshire-based rewilding charity Creating Nature’s Corridors is urging you to pay it back. All you have to do is to remember to make a £5 donation to the charity when you purchase your tree and the funds will go towards replanting the least wooded areas of the country.

Do your bit to bring joy to the world this Christmas

DO YOUR BIT TO BRING JOY TO THE WORLD

‘Tis the season for goodwill so this year be sure to extend those kind-hearted vibes to the planet by joining the #Plantiback campaign.

Every year, the UK buys six-eight million Christmas trees - with the majority of these iconic symbols of the festive period discarded in the New Year – so this holiday season, the Cambridgeshire based rewilding charity Creating Nature’s Corridors is urging you to pay it back. All you have to do is to remember to make a £5 donation to the charity when you purchase your tree and the funds will go towards replanting the least wooded areas of the country.

Whilst buying a Christmas tree is still regarded as the right choice from an environmental perspective (as long as you buy from a local supplier), Creating Nature’s Corridors wants to use the biggest ‘tree day’ of the year to serve as a reminder of the important role we can all play in addressing the climate change agenda.

Can you think of a better gift this Christmas than admiring your beautiful tree safe in the knowledge that the money donated will ensure a joyful more sustainable future for generations to come?
