Crisis communications webinar to be repeated due to popular demand

Cambridge Network's free Coronavirus Crisis Communications webinar tomorrow (Thursday 19th March),  featuring the inspiring communications consultant Simon Hall, has proved so popular that a second session has now been added.

One of the most important factors in coping with the impact of the disease is effective communications with staff, customers and partners. That led the leading business group, Cambridge Network, to set up a free webinar, Coronavirus Crisis Communications.

Led by former BBC News Correspondent, Simon Hall, with extensive experience of crises, the interactive session will help protect your business or organisation while the fear of coronavirus is at its height.

Simon Hall said, “Having a crisis communications plan in place, with the right team ready, and knowing what to say when you’re hit by the outbreak will greatly help you cope. “Many businesses have contacted me, asking how to handle their communications at this time of crisis. The webinar will mean as many as possible can understand the best way to pass on what they’re doing to continue with their work, and so ensure their survival.

Chief Executive of the Cambridge Network, John Gourd, said, “Our Members are facing an unpredictable period and, whilst a lot of focus will have been given to ensuring that their internal operations and supply chains continue, ensuring they are communicating well externally is critically important. I’m grateful to Simon for bringing his extensive experience and knowledge to help our members navigate this challenge.”

The first webinar, to be held tomorrow Thursday 19th March at 11am, is already fully booked.

A repeat session is now planned for the same day at 12.30pm: register for free here and you will receive a link to join the webinar prior to the start time.

Please note that many Cambridge Network and members' events have either been cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Please check the events listings on this site for details about upcoming events.
