Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is a health and social care organisation, whose clinical teams provide many of the NHS services outside of hospital and in the community including physical, mental health and specialist services.
"I have spent nearly 20 years researching the voice-of-the-patient," says Rick Harris, "helping to uncover their needs, and make patient-defined outcomes as important and recognised as clinical ones.
"I would be delighted to share and guide the development of the CPFT Trust with the experience I have learned, especially in areas such as public health awareness and disease prevention, how to communicate with different generations, and being inclusive of the 'whole patient' - including caregivers, friends, local community leaders and beyond. I also feel my experience of working with digital and social media in healthcare would be valuable in helping shape the future development of CPFT services."
Members of CPFT can vote for their choice of Governor from now up until Tuesday 19th June.
