Paul Adkins has become an Audit and Assurance partner, while Sam Lidgett takes on a partner role in the firm’s Tax and Legal division.
Alongside this, Deloitte has announced the promotion of four of its Cambridge-based people to the position of director. They are; Jack Bartsow (Tax and Legal), and Callum Smithson, Jon Payne and Olivia Brown (all Audit and Assurance). Across Deloitte’s Cambridge office, a total of 103 people were promoted.
Adkins has been at Deloitte for over 20 years, having joined the firm in 2005. He leads the Private audit business in Cambridge and the Emerging Growth business for A&A nationally. Cambridge sits at the heart of this with its leading technology and life sciences business community.
Lidgett joined Deloitte as a graduate in 2010, having previously been part of the firm’s Summer Vacation Scheme for undergraduate students. With a background in transactions tax, he is now part of the national private equity portfolio tax leadership team, supporting private equity backed business throughout their life cycle, from acquisition, through their growth journey and towards exit.

Across the UK, Deloitte promoted over 6,000 people, including 48 new partners. Over three in ten (31%) of new partners are based outside of London.
