How do you empower your teams? New cohort on Trust Works programme now open for registration

Are you wondering how to provide more autonomy to your teams and empower your workforce? And how this leads to improved results and better staff engagement? Then join Trust Works' Moving Towards Self-Management programme, the next cohort of which starts in November.

Moving Towards Self-Management programme - Information Session on 4 Oct 2022

In 6 online sessions, in a small group of like-minded individuals, the programme explores how trust, openness and learning leads demonstrably to better performance, off-the-scale customer satisfaction and superb staff engagement. You will discover how alternative mechanisms replace traditional controls to address the ongoing need for assurance while freeing the motivation, initiative and skills of the workforce and lifting the burden of bureaucracy.

This hands-on programme will cover:

  • What is self-management
  • How to align your purpose and organisational practices
  • Conditions for high performance teamwork: on psychological safety and boundaries
  • Practical team tools: models of decision-making, meeting practices and constructive feedback
  • What does this new way of working mean for my managers
  • How to start introducing elements of autonomy without creating anarchy

As one participant writes:

"I have learned lots about the theory and practice, (more than I knew already!) and had many questions answered. I have loved the in-depth conversations and discussions and feel that I know much more about how autonomy and empowerment work. I now understand the complexity of self-managed organisations and I think I understand how to go on the journey to get there. "

The cost of the programme is £1,450 per participant. A 20% discount applies to early sign-on and further discounts are available for not-for-profit organisations.

Interested to find out more? Check out the Trust Works website. In addition, a free, online Information Session is held on 4th October (registration here) in which you will be able to get a feel for the programme and can ask any question you may have.

It would be great to have you on the next cohort.
