Volunteering can also be incredibly beneficial for the individual. In a study carried out by YouGov, 71% of respondents said they learnt new skills through volunteering, 77% said they felt the experience improved their mental health, and 74% said they felt more confident.

A panel of industry experts will also cover how businesses can support their staff to volunteer, and some of the benefits of volunteering. Attendees will be able to put their questions to the panel, to answer any questions they may have about volunteering.
