Woods brings extensive enterprise software leadership. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and President of North America Communications, Media and Technology at CSG Systems Inc. prior to its acquisition by NEC (TYO:6701) in May 2026. At CSG, Woods led the company’s large North American Cable business, overseeing over $2B in major contract renewals with leading communications providers. He was named a 2024 Cablefax 100 honoree.
“Mike has significant experience scaling technology businesses in our sector,” said Noel Goggin, Executive Chairman of IQGeo. “He has spent his career solving the same challenges IQGeo’s customers face now, as they look to modernize legacy systems, migrate to the cloud and scale operations globally. I've had the chance to work alongside Mike closely over recent weeks and look forward to continuing to support him as he builds on the platform and market position we've established.”
“I’m honored to be joining IQGeo at this point in its growth journey,” said Woods. “Fiber expansion and grid modernization are two of the largest infrastructure programs globally, and few software companies are built for delivering those programs the way IQGeo is. We are going to empower the world’s leading telecoms and utilities to build and operate networks that bring critical services to their expanding footprint.”
Rami Bibi, Managing Director and Head of KKR’s Global Impact team in EMEA, added: “IQGeo has a significant opportunity to build on its strong position as telecom and utility operators continue to modernize their networks and invest in critical infrastructure. Mike brings highly relevant experience, and we are incredibly excited to have him on board.”
Woods will be based in the United States and will report to the Board of IQGeo.
