Vhari Russell, founder of Creating Nature's Corridors with Katie Piper

The founder of Cambridgeshire-based rewilding charity Creating Nature’s Corridors will be on national television this weekend, appearing on Katie Piper’s Weekend Escape, ITV’s new Sunday morning feel-good show.

Vhari Russell was invited to feature in the TV show to fill this week’s regular guest slot titled “Katie’s Haircut Hero”. The segment places a spotlight on those who have overcome adversity or done something extraordinary for an individual or community. Katie talks to Vhari about the sterling work undertaken by Creating Nature’s Corridors which was created in memory of Vhari’s late brother who died of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome 6½ years ago. Viewers will witness Vhari enjoying a pampering session as a gesture of thanks for her contribution in helping to rewild the countryside, courtesy of celebrated hairdresser to the stars Michael Douglas and make-up artist Gemma Wheatcroft.

The programme airs this Sunday 3rd August at 08.30 on ITV1.
