LodeStar Events Ltd has launched a circular partnership model from the expansive Fields of LodeStar, 15 minutes from Cambridge, merging premium corporate events with public charity fundraising to optimise annual budgets.
Offering a strategy that delivers verified Environmental, Social, and Governance metrics and reduced waste to community events near Cambridge.
Unlike traditional venues with high overheads, LodeStar uses a lean, direct-management model. By running public events, family days, and festivals immediately following corporate functions on the same infrastructure, it removes duplicate costs and directs 100% of net proceeds to charity.
LodeStar’s Concept
Infrastructure funded by a corporate client for staff socials, team building, training days, or retreats is utilised by LodeStar the following day. The venue opens to the public at minimal extra cost, generating substantial revenue streams for regional charities. This shared infrastructure model
dramatically lowers the event's overall carbon footprint, backed by a third-party verified, Audit-Ready ESG Report.
Doug Durrant, LodeStar Director:
“Modern businesses are looking for authentic, measurable ways to meet their ESG targets, transforming what might be your standard corporate giving into active, engaging community experiences. Our model provides premium corporate experiences in exciting structures and natural
surroundings while turning existing operational spend into powerful community action.”
