A herbalist will treat the whole person rather than just a diagnosed condition. Medicinal herbs tend to have an affinity with a particular bodily or organ system or process. With this knowledge and therapeutic approach they will address the root cause of your presenting symptoms and prescribe suitable bespoke herbal blends to treat you.
Rosie received her diploma in Herbal Medicine from Heartwood Education after five years of study covering anatomy and physiology, materia medica, pathophysiology, differential diagnosis and clinical examination as well as completing over 500 clinical training hours with a number of different practising herbalists around the country.
With a background in permaculture, a holistic and systems‑thinking philosophy inspired by the traditional ecological knowledge of indigenous and land‑based societies; Rosie advocates for direct contact with nature. Outside of her clinical practice she offers herbal workshops and walks in the Cambridge area.
