Arthur Rank Hospice is an independent hospice dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers. All care is provided free of charge, and is offered to people living throughout much of Cambridgeshire.
The Team Arthur campaign, which was donated by Somersault free of charge, is targeted at adults in Cambridgeshire and centres around a campaign film taking viewers through an alternative tour of 2016 Cambridge. It features a diverse cast of Cambridge names, from those that have brought international notoriety to local business owners and well known buildings. It is voiced by former BBC broadcaster and Cambridge local, Nick Barraclough.
Team Arthur is promoted through a range of digital channels and social media, guiding viewers to visit teamarthur.org and pledge support.
The video received its first public play out at the EY Charity Quiz night last week (June 16th), to an audience of around 300 guests, and has now been released online and to media outlets. Around 50 Cambridge Network members and guests were also able to see the video at the latest 'Making the most of membership' event on Friday (June 17th).
Commenting on the launch, Donna Talbot, Director of Fundraising and Communications at ARHC, said: “Team Arthur is an evolution of Team ARHC which we created to recognise all those who have taken part in challenges in aid of the Hospice. We’re excited to be launching this new campaign. This year is an exciting year for the Charity as we move to our new home at Shelford Bottom. There are so many ways that people can support and be involved in the charity, and we’re looking forward to the Team Arthur campaign helping us to reach existing and new supporters in the county”.
Colin Miles, Managing Director of Somersault added: “We are so excited to see the Team Arthur campaign go live and it’s been a total team effort here at Somersault. The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s work is just extraordinary and we hope that, through this campaign, we can help to bring greater awareness, donations and general support from people all over Cambridgeshire.
"It’s been both fun and rewarding to work with a local organisation that provides such incredible care and support.”
