Young people invited to take part in Form the Future Website Hackathon

Form the Future is refreshing its website and wants to hear from its primary audience, young people, to explore and learn from their ideas. Next Friday 10th July, its team is hosting a virtual Website Hackathon.

Form the Future writes:

During this event, young people will take part in an interactive experience working alongside volunteers from creative industries to challenge their own thinking and better understand website design.

This event will have two main tasks:

• Analysis - we would like to explore the current website and test functionality/user experience.

• Design - we would like teams to come up with an improved design for the website.

In addition to meeting like-minded individuals, you will get the chance to come up with new ways of thinking to find solutions to the brief. Throughout the event industry experts will guide students in a number of workshops, helping to work through their ideas and pitch them to the team at Form the Future.

Who can get involved?

Young people aged 14 -21 who live in Cambridgeshire and want to explore their ideas and share their creativity. Although this is a web design hackathon, no coding skills are needed to take part - if you are ready to get stuck in then we would love for you to join us!
