In a free talk put on by the IMechE and IET, Andrew Fraser will describe the pressures that are pushing manufacturers to develop smaller, more efficient petrol engines. He will explain how Ford has developed the overall concept and key features of the Ecoboost engine range, and the engine development programme that produced this radically new design for Ford’s, which won the International Engine of the Year 2012.
