The Global Development Initiative - building the bridge between academics and international business

If you are an SME looking to develop your United States market entry strategy or are considering locations in which to set up, then the Global Development Initiative Programme may be worth considering.

A collaboration between academia and business organisations in Richardson, Texas, the GDI programme is dedicated to supporting international non-USA small and medium enterprises (SMEs) already established in their home countries. Applications to this programme are open now.

The Global Development Initiative (GDI) programme runs in the Spring and Fall Semesters each year and is dedicated to supporting participating SMEs.

Each year a programme is launched dedicated to supporting international non-USA SME) as they develop their United States market entry strategy and establish their US headquarters in the City of Richardson, Texas.

The search is on for new SMEs that might qualify for the valuable market research developed for the qualifying companies.

If you represent a company outside the USA who would like to be considered for this high-value programme, please go to the GDI web site here to review the requirements. Qualifying companies only need to fill out the application (Indication of Interest) and the programme administrators will be in touch.

All applications should be submitted by 15th January 2022. There are limited openings for this program.

The GDI is a collaboration between the City of Richardson, Texas, United States and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce/Richardson Economic Development Partnership (REDP) and the Center for Global Business, part of the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
