Started in Cambridge in 2010 by a core team from Cambridge Silicon Radio, Neul aims to unify the fragmented world of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, with the world's first white space radio system and a new, open M2M communications standard; Neul’s technology is designed to dramatically cut the costs of the spectrum, base stations and the terminals needed to set up a wide area wireless network by using white space radio.
The technology lets people build networks and applications that offer completely new kinds of devices, services and business models - 'an internet of everything.’
Luke D'Arcy, VP Marketing at Neul will be talking about the company its opportunities and the challenges it faces. Prior to joining Neul, Luke worked at Cambridge Consultants managing their cognitive radio business (including white space radio). Previously Luke worked at CSR with responsibility for their wireless audio and DSP businesses.

The next round of this Government competition, which part-funds market research and product development projects to support the commercialisation of new technology innovations from UK SMEs closes on May 31st - at high noon! Grants of up to 60% of project costs are available, depending on the development stage.
