MCS agency transforms to add value to East Anglia businesses

Newly-based Bury St Edmunds agency, MCS, has transformed itself with new team members, a new website, a new logo, and new positioning. New services offered include strategic planning, enhanced web build capabilities, SEO, email marketing and social media. The agency will ‘add value’ to brands by creating ‘outstanding ideas that stand out’.

Its aim is to win more client brands within East Anglia, including SMEs.

MCS, the independent, integrated marketing agency based in Bury St Edmunds has undergone a transformation by recruiting new team members and offering new services to clients. It has also launched a new website, started a blog, revised its logo and developed a fresh proposition. New team members include Richard Fullerton, who will head up client service and development, Ian Dewar, the new SEO partner, and Austin Osbourne, web developer and programmer. The new proposition is ‘Outstanding ideas that stand out’ and is intended to reinforce the agency’s positioning which is its award-winning, creative excellence derived from its London ‘big agency’ origins and people.

Whilst retaining its traditional service offerings of advertising, branding, direct marketing and web design, the agency is now offering new services of SEO, enhanced web build capabilities and programming, email marketing, social media, and strategic marketing planning. The agency, whose client roster includes Vue Cinemas, RBS, Sight Savers charity, and GE Money, aims to grow the business by targeting businesses and brands in East Anglia, a market that it has hitherto largely ignored whilst it serviced larger, nation-wide brands.

Lloyd Hancock, co-founder and creative partner, said: “It’s all about adding value to clients these days. Gone are the times when an ad could look great but little was known of its real impact – now brands demand results which give proven added value. This means our campaigns must deliver to the bottom line, build the brand and more. I am confident that with our new identity, our new team members, and new services, we will be able to help more businesses grow, especially in our local area, and thus grow ourselves”.
