Job Fair on Friday offers a world of opportunity

Cambridge Network's Job Fair on the afternoon of Friday 4th May - promises jobseekers a huge variety of opportunity to connect with leading local employers.

The event, the latest in a series of job fairs organised by the Network's Recruitment Gateway team, takes place from 12-4 pm at a new venue – the Post Doc Centre at Eddington on the Northwest Cambridge site, a short walk from Madingley Park & Ride (see map below).

The event is being sponsored by The One Group, whose team will be available on the day and looking to speak with potential candidates about their vacancies. They will also be running CV workshops and a 'speed registration' drop-in area, where candidates can talk to and sign up with recruitment experts.

Companies exhibiting include:

C(Image removed)laire Angus, who heads the Recruitment Gateway, says: " Unlike our last recruitment event, which was aimed specifically at scientists, this event offers a huge range of different roles - from administrative and functional to technical and professional, so there will be something for everybody.

"The facilities at Eddington are excellent and will enable us to accommodate all exhibiting companies in one room. We will also have a separate room for talks.

"This is a must-attend event for anyone looking to start their career, who wants to make a change, or who simply wants to see what sort of vacancies are currently available. It will provide an opportunity, not only to talk to company representatives about the roles they have on offer, but also to find out more about their organisation and company culture.

"Eddington is located next to the Madingley Park and Ride, so people can reach us easily by bus from the city, and the Post Doc Centre is a 5-minute walk from there.

"For anyone driving, the £1 parking charge there has been droppedl, so all those attending can park for free."
