Furlough to remain open until December 2020
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 31 October 2020, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (“CJRS”), which was due to end, is being extended until December 2020 and the cost to employers will reduce compared to October 2020. The Job Support Scheme will be postponed until the CJRS scheme ends.

The micro-mobility company Voi is offering free rides to NHS and Emergency Service staff in the regions where it operates to help them travel safely, using a social distancing mode of transport during Lockdown 2.0. Free rides will be available to NHS and Emergency Service workers in the cities where Voi has trials, including Cambridge, Birmingham, Northampton, Liverpool, Bath and Bristol.
