Recently the company re-launched its Women@Domino global network to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences, as well as networking, mentoring, events and training. The network is not limited to female employees; male colleagues are encouraged to participate and promote ‘Allyship’ with their fellow workers.
Some recent events have included help to ‘build your own brand’ within the organisation and ‘speed mentoring’ to find suitable mentors with the right skillsets to help more junior colleagues.
Supporting its people at every stage of their career has led Domino to introduce an enhanced maternity pay policy, providing new parents with greater security and peace of mind.
The company also continues to align with national initiatives such as STEM Returners, which provides support and mentoring for professionals who have taken time out for children and are returning to the workplace after a gap.
Josie Harries, Global Business Development Director – OEM and lead for the Women@Domino network said: “We are delighted to mark International Women’s Day by highlighting the range of initiatives we have introduced to further support women within our business. Not only is it a space where women and their allies can connect, learn and grow to progress their careers, but it also facilitates events and training opportunities that can broaden skillsets to meet the challenges of today.
“Throughout the year, there are opportunities to participate in international and national weeks and days which focus on supporting women’s careers. These deliver the impetus to stage internal events and publicity around them, celebrating women who are thriving within an organisation and acting as a valuable incentive for further recruitment.”
For 2026, Domino is demonstrating its support for International Women’s Day in line with the UN Global compact theme ‘Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL women and girls’, focusing on turning corporate commitment into ‘tangible and measurable progress’ and encouraging meaningful action to support gender equality.
