Cambridge Index surges 21%
The Cambridge Index grew 21% or 3,929.9 points to close above the 22,000 level for the first time, as its top index heavyweight ARM Holdings rallied on acquisition news. ARM Holdings, up 41.1%, announced that SoftBank Group Corp. has agreed to acquire it for £24.3bn. The shareholders will receive an interim dividend of 3.78p per share.
