We will be hosting our next Cambridge at the amazing new colab space of Serendipity Labs (Cambridge North). It is a casual setting where we can come together, exchange greetings, engage in conversation and simply enjoy a pleasant time.
Picture this as more than just an event – it’s a community gathering. Our focus is on providing you with an opportunity to meet fellow professionals and founders in a relaxed and amiable environment. We’ll share conversations over delicious food and drinks, and leave with a sense of excitement and a pocketful of new contacts and ideas.
Join us for an evening surrounded by incredible people, and let’s make it a night to remember. Looking forward to sharing good company and creating memorable connections!
Topic: Health tech: The Power of User-Centred Design
Healthcare technologies have the power to revolutionise treatment—from continuous glucose monitors for diabetes to devices designed to manage chronic conditions like Parkinson’s disease. Yet, even the most advanced innovations can fail if they are not designed with usability in mind. Technical sophistication alone cannot compensate for impractical or complex products. This panel will examine why successful healthcare technology development must integrate real-world use considerations from the outset and not as an afterthought.
Panellists:
- Dr Nadia Danhash, Director at InnovationRCA
- Dr. Matt Ash, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Supersense Technologies
- Laura Salisbury, Founder and CEO at KnitRegen
- Facilitated by: Bradley Hardiman, Life Science Venture Capitalist
The format of the night:
18:00 Doors open – drinks, networking and meeting great people.
18:30 Panel and talks start
19:15 Drinks, food and networking
20:30 End of the night – you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas.
Venue: Serendipity Labs Coworking Space
This event is proudly supported by Box, KISS, Cambourne Science and Technology Park (Life Sciences REIT), Solici, Source BioScience, Uptitude and VectorBuilder and kindly hosted by Serendipity Labs.
And finally…
This is a ticketed event. Food and drinks for the night included.
Please let your colleagues and industry friends know about us, we hope to build it into a great resource for the ecosystem over the coming months and years. Attendance will be taken at this event. If you register but don’t show up, this has a knock-on effect on event arrangements. If it happens 3 times, we may need to reconsider your participation. This is simply a measure to allow appropriate respect to the organisers, speakers, sponsors, and your fellow Conexers.
See you there!
