Cambridge Network peer group session: business people chatting

Events

We typically host five in-person events each year, held within the Cambridgeshire area and generously hosted by our member organisations.

Each year begins with members shaping the topics they want to explore. Each session lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes and are delivered by industry experts. All sessions are specifically tailored for individuals working within Recruitment teams. Support continues outside of meetings, with questions and answers collated across the group and shared back with members.

Recent sessions have included:
  • Immigration and Employment Law
  • Recruiting From Overseas, Sponsorships and Licenses
  • Midlife Candidates and Transferable Skills
  • Generative AI in Recruitment
  • Talent Attraction and Retention
  • Rethinking Recruitment for Neurodiverse Candidates
  • Early Careers
  • Recruitment Tools and Systems

Upcoming Schedule

Our next session is on Tuesday 8 September, focused on AI in Talent Acquisition.

2026 sessions will cover:

  • Volunteering and Modern Day Work Experience
A Cambridge Network Peer Group: Professionals chatting around a board table
