Our Food Development Chef, Vladimir Hromek, has secured his place in the National Chef of the Year 2026 Final, becoming one of just 10 chefs selected from across the UK to compete for the industry's most prestigious title.
After progressing through the semi-finals in London, organised by the Craft Guild of Chefs, Vladimir impressed the judges with his creativity, technical excellence and thoughtful approach to sustainable cooking. Competitors were challenged to produce a two-course menu inspired by the theme "Our Sustainable Future," showcasing seasonal British ingredients, innovation and balance.
Reaching the final is an exceptional achievement and a testament to Vladimir's passion, dedication and skill. His success also reflects the creativity and high standards that drive our culinary team every day.
We are incredibly proud to see Vladimir representing Cambridge Dining Co. on the national stage and wish him the very best as he prepares for the final later this year.
