Team Consulting are attending the Women at the Cutting Edge event hosted by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, in partnership with the RCS England I-Hub and Women in Surgery (WinS) group, on Friday 17th October 2025 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Team's Senior FEI Strategy and Innovation Consultant, Lara Zaki, and Senior Human Factors Consultant, Claire Young, will lead a workshop that addresses how we can design surgical devices that work better for everyone, especially women.

On Friday 17th October 2025 at 11:50am as part of Breakout Session One, Team Consulting will present an interactive 1-hour workshop on how inclusive and collaborative design processes can drive better device experiences for women surgeons, and better outcomes for women patients.

Attendees can look forward to:

  • Gaining practical experience exploring and brainstorming surgical device innovation
  • Providing input on the challenges women in surgery face with devices and technology, and help demonstrate the importance of inclusive device design that caters to the needs of women surgeons and patients
