Day 3 in the Big Brother house...

Great day today;

  • We held the first online seminar with former BBC correspondent Simon Hall, covering the importance of a clear communications plan when a crisis hits. Interest was so high that we had to put on a second session and both were fully booked – thanks Simon and the team.

  • We hope to host a series of other, free, seminars over the next few weeks and the team is currently working on a schedule. As always, please let me know if there are any topics you would like us to cover.

  •  We’re also looking to see how we can help those who have unfortunately lost their jobs to connect with companies who need short-term staff - access it here.

  • The willingness of Cambridge companies to help each other continues to amaze me, seeing PEM use their expertise to produce a free summary of the Government’s financial interventions for everyone is just one of many examples - access it here. Please everyone keep up the good work, we will get through this better if we pool our resources and skills.

  •  Our first team virtual coffee afternoon went down well and a drinks reception is planned for next week – both with the proviso that we don’t discuss work.

Away from work;

BREAKING NEWS – we’ve managed to isolate the elusive COVID19 virus in our kitchen, it was found in the kids’ play room. Let’s hope it can lead to a vaccine.
