The post holder will work closely with the Head of Governance, providing administrative and secretariat support for the College’s governance arrangements, committees and governance projects.
The post holder will also provide personal assistance and administrative support to the Bursar(s), helping them to manage their commitments and ensuring the effective coordination of their work. It is anticipated that this element of the role will account for approximately two days per week, although the allocation will vary according to College priorities and workload.
We are looking for a highly organised, discreet and proactive administrator with experience of providing high-quality administrative, PA, executive or committee support in a professional environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, confidence in managing competing priorities and deadlines, and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team, with good judgement and a flexible, service-focused approach. Strong Microsoft 365 skills are essential.
Experience of working in higher education, a charity or another governance-focused environment, servicing committees or boards, or supporting senior staff would be an advantage.
