In this role, you’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle from initial concepts through design and development to handover of the finished product to the customer. This is a varied role, working on a wide range of projects with the common theme being protecting Britain from its adversaries.
Essential skills and attributes:
- A 1st or 2.1 degree in electronics or similarly applicable subject from a leading university
- Substantial design and implementation experience in FPGA firmware development with VHDL or Verilog, ideally within the context of DSP
- Skills with tools such as Vivado or Quartus
- Eligibility for UK security clearance and full existing UK work permission.
Expertise in any of the following would be useful but not essential: system modelling with MATLAB or Simulink, embedded software engineering with C or C++ on Linux, SDR or Radar, C++ and Linux expertise.
