Project Manager

Cambrionix designs and builds industrial USB hubs and device management hardware, trusted by organisations that need to charge, connect and manage fleets of mobile devices at scale. We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team, supporting the day-to-day execution of our roadmap, owning recurring reporting and analytics, and building toward ownership of a product area of your own.

Product Ownership: Accessories & Services

  • Drive day-to-day execution of our Accessories & Services product line, including extended warranties, from research and range work through to tracking commercial performance
  • Bring focus and structure to an area that needs dedicated attention, applying good product practice (categorisation, range modelling, lifecycle planning) to grow it
  • Coordinate go-to-market for this line, working with Sales and Marketing on positioning and launch, with pricing and roadmap decisions made jointly with the Head of Product
  • A first project: take our parked Extended Warranty initiative (structured, self-serve post-warranty coverage for our ~24k-unit installed base) from concept to a commercially viable launch

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Work with our software developers and data team to identify gaps in our data and help roadmap improvements to close them
  • Own monthly reporting end-to-end, adopting automated tooling wherever it reduces manual effort
  • Help implement a data-insight-action funnel, working closely with the Head of Product to embed it with Sales and Customer Success on a regular cadence

Market & Competitor Research

  • Support research into competitor evaluation and likely evolution, technology trends and market trends, including TAM sizing and forecasting
  • Support evaluation of opportunities against our new-market/new-technology framework, feeding recommendations into where we grow next
  • Help evaluate competitor products and pricing against our own

Full Lifecycle Delivery, with Engineering

  • Work hands-on with Engineering to shape and write clear product requirements, from early concept through to delivery
  • Stay involved across the full lifecycle, not just up-front definition, following products through launch and on to end-of-life
  • Support our Programme Management team on cross-functional initiatives where useful, without owning that process

Partner & Customer Insight

  • Support research into developer and partner programme frameworks, working closely with the Head of Product to implement
  • Own the incoming customer feedback queue: triage, respond, and attach relevant insights to product initiatives
  • Help gather customer feedback and identify candidates for case studies, including support for a future Customer Advisory Board

Product Operations & Quality

  • Support test & validation activity in partnership with engineering
  • Support product lifecycle activity such as end-of-life and discontinuation planning

Growth Exposure (with senior Product support)

  • Exposure to pricing & monetisation strategy, packaging and tiering decisions
  • Exposure to commercial decision-making as we shift from one-off hardware sales toward recurring, subscription-based revenue

[WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Monthly reporting and analytics run reliably, with automation reducing manual effort over time
  • The Accessories & Services line shows steady commercial progress, with new initiatives launched cleanly and tracked against target performance
  • Product requirements handed to Engineering are consistently clear enough that build work starts without major rework
  • Customer feedback is triaged promptly and visibly feeds into product decisions
  • Product judgement keeps growing, shown in the quality of input to pricing and packaging discussions

Must-have

  • Real, hands-on product experience across the product lifecycle: categorisation, range modelling (e.g. good/better/best), new product introduction (NPI) and end-of-life (EOL) planning
  • Confidence writing clear Product Requirements (PRDs)
  • A financial skillset suited to product work: comfortable with COGS and margins across both transactional (one-off hardware) and recurring/SaaS revenue models
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and spreadsheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage several workstreams at once
  • A curious, user-centred approach and comfort working with ambiguity

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to hardware or IoT products, or connectivity/USB technology
  • Familiarity with SaaS analytics, or subscription/usage-based pricing models
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working
  • Some experience working alongside a UI/UX team on product experience, we're not looking for a designer, but someone comfortable partnering closely with one

Benefits

  • 25 days holiday, plus a 3-day Christmas shutdown and UK bank holidays
  • 1 charity day per year
  • Workplace pension
  • Healthshield cash plan
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance
  • Discretionary bonus scheme
  • Salary sacrifice EV and Cycle to Work schemes
  • Growth shares
  • Onsite parking
  • Regular social events
  • Free light snacks and refreshments on site
