About the Role
Based in our Chelmsford Campus and as part of a friendly team wea are looking for someone on a 12 month maternity cover. You will teach all aspects of the child nursing curriculum including skills and theory across all our nursing courses (BSc, Dual qualification, Nursing Associate and Degree Apprentices) and there may be the requirement for you at times to travel to our other campuses in Cambridge or Peterborough. We will support you to fulfil your potential and become part of an enthusiastic team.
You will be personal tutor to a group of nursing students as well as their academic assessor (AA) and be responsible for them progressing through the course and onto qualification. To support you to achieve this you will be allocated a mentor to help you navigate challenges you may incur.
You will need to be on a professional register, and hold either a NMC, HCPC or GMC qualification and will need a degree plus extensive post qualification CPD and/or a higher degree. You will also need a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and different LMS to help support students in their course and learning. Please be aware that no two days are the same and that at times, you may be asked at short notice to change to teach a different subject.
