We've been quiet but very busy
As it's been some weeks since we were in touch, we thought you'd appreciate an update. So here we are with news of the events that took place during and after Cambridge Children's Charity Week that was earlier this summer.
Lois raised over £1,000 for local children in need via a charming art exhibition held at MichaelHouse Centre, Trinity Street.
Acteon Communications combined two of their favourite things to create a Dance a Thon that raised over £2,000.
Taylor Vinters served tennis and football with afternoon tea. The 'slice of lemon' was the corporate social responsibility twist.
And staying on the tea theme, Six Cambridge made their charity contribution to local children in need - doing it their way.
St John's College School not only provided the venue for our awards ceremony earlier this year, they have also appointed CCCW as their Parents' Association Charity of the Year. One of the many ways they are giving us support is via the Children Helping Children art show that was held at Byard Art.
We've had help from the local media this year to make a buzz and this is a great opportunity to thank Jeremy Sallis of BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Adrian Curtis of Cambridge Independent and Ben Baldwin of Cambridge TV.
Citrix are going live and portable

We are pleased to say, this, our third year of fundraisin, is no different. A small team at Citrix has been busy behind the scenes taking their escape room and making it portable. Bookings are now being taken.
A meeting of like minds
Small charities and initiatives like CCCW - that exists purely to help raise money for core running costs of charities under the radar of most - bring together people who share values and take pleasure from discovering what makes them really tick.
The recent meeting, hosted by Citrix with Cambridgeshire Community Foundation and CCCW was no exception to this rule. Here's what we discovered...
