Cambridge hi-tech developers' conference goes from strength to strength

The Cambridge Embedded Systems Conference last week was attended by engineers and computer scientists from across the UK.

The 2016 UK Device Developers' Conference was held at the Cambourne Belfry last Wednesday and Thursday and attracted senior hi-tech engineers from across the UK. Engineers from companies such as Rolls Royce and Panasonic attended, in order to explore new tools and technologies and to listen to technical presentations from industry experts.    Gallery of photos from the Conference   The Conference is for developers involved in the development of intelligent systems and devices, and this year's conference touched on subjects such as the development of safety critical software,  internet connected vehicles, interface design and device security.   "This 2016 event has been the best so far," said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. "We had a very strong agenda and a lot of industry support. The feedback has been very positive, it's been a very rewarding couple of days."   The Conference organisers have said that they already have a commitment from sponsors for their 2017 event, and expect this event to be bigger still, with more workshops, more exhibitors and a wider audience. This year's event included an exhibition space and a stream of presentations dedicated to hardware development and hardware testing.   This year's Conference was sponsored by German debug tool company Lauterbach, UK display technology company IDS and hardware debug tool company JTAG Technologies. More than 30 industry vendors exhibited and took part in technical presentations and workshops.   Image: The Hardware Debug Workshop at Device Developers' Conference 2016   ____________________________________
