Don't Forget...

On Friday 27 February (this week) the award-winning human rights lawyer from Ramallah and author of Palestinian Walks, Raja Shehadeh, returns to Cambridge to explore the politics of language and the language of politics.

Although the Peace Process in Israel has never looked bleaker, Raja gives us some rays of hope. believing that language can be as effective as any weapon – a potent force that can engineer outcomes, exacerbate tensions and obstruct peace. Raja Shehadeh and Ruth Padel will reflect on how it might be made possible for Israelis and Palestinians to attain a language of peace.

Promises to be a moving and memorable event.
