On 6th February, 2014, The Fyde - CajaCanarias Foundation, in its annual ceremony for Entrepreneurs Awards 2013, demonstrated a new appreciation for entrepreneurship , placing value on the initiative , enthusiasm and drive of the young entrepreneurs involved in projects with a high innovative component: "Studiesbooking" (Canary Islands, Spain).
This initiative, promoted with Lecuona's partner and co-founder Alberto Erice Pérez, has been given the authorization to operate in the Canary Islands Special Zone (Zona Especial Canaria -ZEC ) to develop a web portal ( http://www.studiesbooking.com ), focused on students, offering search services related to academic and language training. The platform will provide information for students who are looking to further their studies as well as other complementary services. One phase of the project will include Artificial Intelligence techniques.
This ZEC business initiative stands out for its innovative character, its growth potential and its ability to create jobs, contribution to diversify the productive structure, and social and economic development of the archipelago.
