Increasingly, business leaders are hearing and saying a lot about creativity. These discussions are driven, at least in part, by the perceived threat of automation and a corresponding motivation to develop soft skills, such as collaboration, communication and creativity.
Creativity is not just a way to ‘future-proof’ your career; it also promises organisations the means to gain from disorder (anti-fragility). In these uncertain times, creativity is in very high demand.
Join Cambridge Network and ICE for a Business Breakfast at Madingley Hall in Cambridge (free parking), where the talk will cover:
- Various underlying theories of creativity and the implications of each exposed.
- What is ‘permission to fail’ and how can it be fostered within an organisation? Would it help to avoid mentioning “failure” altogether - or would “failure” still loom over us?
- How can we foster co-creation within an organisation? To what extent is collaboration a silent practice (rather than a vocal one)?
