The event runs from 5.30-8.30pm and allows prospective students to explore Anglia Ruskin’s Cambridge campus as well as find out more about the range of postgraduate courses on offer, including the new MA in Transnational Crime.
Transnational crime includes activities that violate the laws of more than one country, for example money laundering, terrorist activities, environmental crimes, and illicit traffic in drugs, arms and people.
The course explores practical and theoretical aspects of transnational criminal activities, including models and methods of detection, policing, social control and sanctions.
The MA in Transnational Crime is aimed at those who would like to develop careers in areas such as national and international criminal justice systems, immigration and border agencies, the police, scenes of crime work, the Home Office, and social policy.
In addition to being able to meet Course Leaders and lecturers from the different courses offered in Cambridge such as Publishing, Creative Writing and International Business, staff from Anglia Ruskin’s Admissions team will be on hand to provide advice and guidance.
Admissions can also process applications on the day and, for the majority of courses, if students meet all of the entry requirements they will receive an offer on the spot.
